    Leadership is a critical ingredient in business success. Thought companies weren’t investing in developing their people?  I know I did.  GFC, economic downturn, rising unemployment, cost cutting, economic rationalisation, market contraction and all that palaver. Well think again.

    In a recent Fast Company article I came across this gem.  Starbucks recently ran their Leadership Lab in a Houston convention centre and invited 10,000 store managers.  Their aim? Turning store managers whom they actually call partners (and not just because they hold stocks in the company) into evangelists. That has got to be good for business right?  Wouldn’t you like your people to be raving fans of your product or service?
