    We live in turbulent times.  Technology is developing at a lightening fast pace, the world is rapidly changing, and global events impact us here at home.  So to is the world of work changing and the pressures it places on us to do more, better, faster and cheaper in order to stay ahead of the curve.  In my work I regularly see the symptoms of taking too much on.  Burnout, increasing levels of stress and frustration, an inability to cope and depression just to name a few.  I see Mother’s who feel guilty because they can’t seem to ‘do it all’; Managers who are working ridiculous hours and sacrificing their own well-being because they’re afraid of being judged ‘not capable’; and staff who turn up to work, go through the motions and generally wish they were somewhere else.  Feeling under appreciated, over-worked and kinda stuck in a rut.
